Tissot In Baselworld Baselworld
SEA-TOUCH-T-TOUCH EXPERT PILOT
At BaselWorld this year, Tissot has developed his very successful T-Touch series, added new models to the MotoGP model, and launched several limited edition watches and a brand new series. In the current uncertain economic environment, Tissot has boldly attacked and actively supported retailers with a large number of new products.
T-Touch
In the T-Touch series, Tissot introduced a high-performance touch watch for divers, SEA-Touch. It is amazing that the wearer can use all the functions of this watch at a depth of two hundred meters. His functions include two time zones, diving depth, digital stopwatch, thermometer, alarm function, perpetual calendar, compass and diver’s sailing record-all functions are triggered by the touch of the surface glass. The stopwatch button can also work underwater, which makes the SEA-Touch one of the few diving stopwatches with this feature.
T-Touch Expert Pilot is also a new product in the BaselWorld. He introduced the touch function of Tissot into the world of spaceflight. Touching the crown and scratch-resistant crystal can trigger eleven different functions, including an altimeter, altitude difference meter, barometer, and countdown meter.
T-RACE MOTOGP LIMITED EDITION-COUTURIER CHRONO AUTO
limited edition
This time, there are three limited edition models of BaselWorld, all of which are full of racing interest. To celebrate the fourth year of MotoGP racer Nicky Hayden becoming the image ambassador of Tissot, now he has entered Ducati for the first time. The 2009 T-Race Nicky Hayden is limited to 4,999 pieces, each with a number.
The 2009 T-Race MotoGP Limited Edition was produced in a limited edition of 9,002 to commemorate Tissot as the official timer of MotoGP. In the past few years, this watch has appeared in MotoGP as a motorcycle helmet-like box containing the medals won on eighteen tracks. With special tools, these medals can be removed from the case.
To commemorate the first woman to win an IndyCar® event, Tissot has launched the T-Race Danica Patrick Limited Edition. In April 2008, Danica Patrick made history. She won in the IndyCar® series, so this limited edition (4,999) was built specifically for this victory.
To enrich his variety, Tissot re-launched the Art Deco’s ‘banana-shaped’ Classic Prince, an early twentieth century product. The power of Classic Prince comes from a Swiss-made 17-diamond mechanical movement. There are three models, each of which is 4,999. They are all made of 18K rose gold, with and without diamond.

Tissot Couturier
This year, Tissot launched a new series, Tissot Couturier, which is a series of elegant lines, using the best movements and the best materials. Tissot Couturier watches (in 21 models), using five different movements, including two Tissot Couturier Chrono Auto models, one with the famous 7750 Valjoux movement, and the other with the newly developed ETA C01 .211 mechanical movement.
Surprisingly, we are not here to list all the new watches launched by Tissot in BaselWorld. There are more styles that have not been presented one by one (My T-Tonneau Diamonds, T-Moments, Equi-T Festive Special, Stylis-T Gent Chrono, etc.). In 2009, many brand actions were very Caution, but Tissot seemed very brave and unreserved.
