Longines Welcomes The Queen Of The Commonwealth Games 2018 To Longines Singapore Store

On Friday night, Longines is honored to welcome the ‘Golden Baton Relay Tour’ of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games at the Longines Store in Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore. At the event, local athletes and the Singapore Committee of the Commonwealth Games were present to witness the arrival of the symbol of the Games. The next Games will be held on the east coast of Australia from April 4 to 15, 2018.

   The ‘Queen’s Baton Relay Journey’ set off from Buckingham Palace in March and was responsible for passing the message of Queen Elizabeth II to a group of athletes, which will be read at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. The baton currently spans 71 Commonwealth countries or regions and has covered 230,000 kilometers.
